I use my driveway patrol two ways.

One is screwed into the back of my rural mailbox and alarms when the mail man opens the mail box door.
The other is in my storage building and is set to alarm when anyone brakes open the door. The only reason I gave 4 stars is sometimes I get false alarms but not often

Had ours almost 3 years before the monitor went. Performed well for all that time at about 400'. Only negative is that it can't tell the difference between cars and trees or shrubs blowing in the wind or birds/animals. I am ordering my replacement now.

We have the Driveway Patrol at the entrance to our front deck and alerts us when people are approaching our front door. In the month that we have had Driveway Alert, it has proven to be very affective.

Had unit about 3 weeks and is a-ok. Batters checked today and still good. Great saftey product for the money. I'am going to order more for my familey and myself. Don"t miss this one! Range I set mine at 200' and 3 days of rain and still works ok . Harbor Freight had one for 19.99 not waterproof, range not like this one Great Buy TY JL
