I just got my television today, and I am MORE than happy with it! For someone who doesn't have a lot of money to spend and wants to get the most for their dollar, this tv is IT! I was also pleasantly surprised at how "user" friendly the instructions were and how easy it was to set it up. The only things I find detrimental on this great tv is this: even though it is a flat screen, it is quite bulky in back and takes up space and it took us a while to get the color/contrast/tint/sharpness, etc. just right. It seemed like we would never get the color right, but after letting the tv run for a while and working on the color adjustment, it ended up coming out just beautiful. The picture is clear and gorgeous! If you are on the fence about this tv for any reason, be assured that you are getting the most for your money on this purchase - it is a GREAT tv!

When we unpacked it, I noticed a few surface blemishes and wondered if it was used. But then I went back and read the description, and the warning is there. I just wasn't paying attention. Still, it doesn't look bad. One scratch on the side and a little nick out of the bottom front edge... no worse than most of our other stuff...lol.
Anyway, took us about 30 minutes to get all the settings the way we wanted them (process was easy, directions were simple with diagrams and graphics, piece of cake) mostly because we had to wait for the cable channels to load. We were looking for exactly this type of unit to mount on the wall in a bedroom, and this was a good find for the price. It will get lots of use!
